# bookedby

> bookedby is a referral-attribution and commission platform for private-event bookings at hospitality venues. Creators, venue employees, and booking agents share tracked links, promo codes, or QR codes; when a referred private event is booked, completed, and paid, the referrer earns a venue-set commission (typically ~5% of collected revenue) and the platform earns a fee (~2%). Venues pay nothing unless an event completes.

bookedby tracks referrals from click → inquiry → booking → collected → payable. Attribution uses a 90-day last-click window (promo codes also credit). Partner dashboards and statements show counts and commissions only — never guest names, emails, phones, or event details.

Primary market: private events at bars, restaurants, and similar venues. Pilot venues live in NYC. Works with existing inquiry forms (Tripleseat deepest; Squarespace and plain HTML via a one-line browser script).
